Daniel Castellanos is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon since 2017 who works at the Department of Orthopedics, Capio Specialistvård Motala, with special focus on soft tissue knee surgery, sports traumatology/injuries and knee replacement surgery since 2022. He has accreditation in Sports Medicine from the Swedish Society for Physical Activity and Sports Medicine.
From 2019 he began with the doctoral thesis project about anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and return to sports: ” ACL reconstruction and return to play in competitive sports”.
The doctoral thesis project is in cooperation with Stockholm Sports Trauma Research Center (CIFU) at Karolinska Institutet.
