Ankara University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Ankara TURKEY Dr. Ozbek is an orthopedic surgeon based in Ankara, Turkey. He completed his training at Ankara University. He was awarded AO Trauma Foundation Scholarship for AO Trauma fellowship (March-May, 2017) under supervision of Prof. Chip L. Routt, MD at Universtiy of Texas, USA. He start to work as a faculty member at Ankara University, Ankara, Turkey after 3-year general orthopedic practice. He underwent orthopedic sports medicine short term fellowship (December 2021- February 2022) under supervision of Dr. Jorge Chahla, MD at RUSH University, Chicago, IL, USA with TUBITAK scholarship. He was awarded ESSKA scholarship for orthopedic sports medicine clinical and research fellowship (February 2022-2023) under supervision of Prof. Volker Musahl, MD at Universtiy of Pittsburgh, PA, USA. His primary research interests include orthopedic sports medicine with numerous articles and international book chapters published by esteemed publishers. He was awarded 2024 Dervis Manizade Science award by Turkish Orthopedic Association. He was in Rizzoli Institute in Bologna, Italy with JEO Research/Editorial award. He was awarded The Best Arthroscopy and Sports Injury Podium Presentation in 33. National Turkish Orthopaedic and Traumatology Congress.
