Mark Owen Mcconkey, MD, FRCSC

Dr. McConkey is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Arthroscopy, Department of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He completed his orthopaedic residency training at UBC prior to completing a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Iowa. After Iowa he completed a fellowship in hip arthroscopy with Dr. Matthew Brick at the Millennium Institute of Sport and Health in Auckland, New Zealand.
His elective practice is focused on complex soft tissue knee reconstruction, hip preservation and shoulder arthroscopy. He is a member of the medical staff of the Vancouver Canucks Hockey Team, the Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League.
Dr. McConkey continues to be actively involved in research and teaching pursuits in association with the University of British Columbia.
