Role of the fellow with respect to Clinical, Surgical, Research, and other opportunities: The fellow will participate in all clinical activities of the department. The fellow will also participate in surgical procedures with the assistant physicians. The participation in research projects is also advised
Types of Educational Opportunities:
Research projects, research facilities and resources, cadaver labs, publication opportunities, integration of the patient and public involvement, and the role of the fellow: The fellow will participate in all procedures undergone during the fellowship period, including outpatient and inpatient assistance, surgical assistance, always under the assistance of specialized physicians. The fellow will also have the option to participate in the research projects performed during his stay. These groups have publications in the most relevant specialized journals

Athletic Team Coverage: Our department is a FIFA Medical Center of Excellence in Brazil, and collaborating center of FIMS. Our facility is responsible for soccer player’s assistance of several soccer teams in Brazil. We also cover many other sports modalities, such as rugby, fighting, handball, basketball, and volleyball, among others.
